Second week of March 2010 would be remembered when Facebook became the most visited site in US, reaching 7.07% of whole US internet traffic. Over 400 million worldwide are using Facebook .
Most of this traffic can be declared as noise. Social media became huge referral traffic and every business is focusing in promoting their service using it. Google as a traffic source is degraded after promoting its services in SERP and we are facing massive shift to social. This chart reflects massive shift to social.
